Also this year SIFA, in collaboration with Confindustria Ancona, took part to an orientation and training project dedicated to primary and lower secondary schools of our district.
The goal was both to create a concrete match between knowledge and skills, and to enhance those fundamental skills that a successful worker of the future must have, such as creativity, practical sense, ability to entertain the audience and to know how improve both in the face of defeats and victories.
The objective set for the little inventors was to create a toy, following only two rules: the toy must move at least in some of its part (open, jump, rotate, lift) and must be the result of their creativity and not proposed by the teachers, who in this context are only facilitators of the process. These year’s theme was “ Pneumatics”, a certainly ambitious and stimulating theme which gave students the opportunity to engage in projects that have to do with physics, bringing this subject closer to the students.
The young students showed not only the result of the work that lasted a few months but also the skills that the project contributes to strengthen, i.e. inventiveness, creativity, concreteness, transformation of the knowledge acquired through studies into skills, the ability to speak in public and to work together in a constructive way.
